1. SERVICES

1.1 Involved Events provides mobile cocktail bartending services including:

  • Professional bartenders

  • Full mobile bar setup

  • Glassware hire

  • Ice supply

  • Fresh ingredients prepared onsite

  • Cocktail preparation and service

1.2 Involved Events does not sell, supply, or provide alcohol.

1.3 All alcohol must be purchased, supplied, and legally owned by the Client.

2. LIQUOR LAW COMPLIANCE (NSW)

2.1 The Client is solely responsible for ensuring full compliance with:

  • The Liquor Act 2007 (NSW)

  • Any required limited licence, event licence, or permit

  • Venue or council restrictions

  • Any applicable festival or public event approvals

2.2 The Client warrants that:

  • All alcohol supplied has been lawfully purchased.

  • Any required liquor licence or event authorisation has been obtained.

  • The Event complies with all NSW liquor and local government laws.

2.3 Involved Events accepts no liability whatsoever for:

  • Failure to obtain required licences

  • Fines or penalties

  • Breach of liquor laws

  • Seizure of alcohol

  • Event shutdown by authorities

2.4 If Involved Events reasonably believes liquor laws are being breached, service may be immediately suspended or terminated without refund.

3. RESPONSIBLE SERVICE OF ALCOHOL (RSA)

3.1 All staff hold current NSW RSA certification.

3.2 Involved Events has absolute discretion to:

  • Refuse service to intoxicated persons

  • Refuse service to minors

  • Stop alcohol service entirely if safety concerns arise

  • Remove staff if conditions become unsafe

3.3 RSA compliance overrides Client instructions.

4. CLIENT RESPONSIBILITIES

The Client must:

  • Provide a safe, stable, and lawful venue

  • Ensure adequate lighting, shelter, and safe flooring

  • Provide access to potable water and power if required

  • Provide adequate security for large or high-risk events

  • Ensure guests behave lawfully and safely

  • Ensure minors are not supplied alcohol

For festivals and public events, the Client must ensure:

  • Crowd control measures

  • Required council and event permits

  • Appropriate event insurance

Failure to meet these obligations allows Involved Events to cease services without refund.

5. INDEMNITY

5.1 The Client indemnifies and holds harmless Involved Events, Nathan John Brannan, employees, and contractors against any:

  • Claim

  • Loss

  • Liability

  • Fine

  • Penalty

  • Legal cost

  • Injury claim

  • Property damage claim

Arising from:

  • Alcohol supply or consumption

  • Breach of liquor laws

  • Guest intoxication

  • Injury caused by guests

  • Venue non-compliance

  • Festival or council breaches

  • Failure to obtain permits

  • Client negligence

  • Guest misconduct

  • Third-party claims

5.2 This indemnity is continuing and survives the Event.

6. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

6.1 To the maximum extent permitted by law, Involved Events excludes liability for:

  • Indirect or consequential loss

  • Loss of profit

  • Emotional distress

  • Guest injury caused by intoxication

  • Damage caused by guests

  • Loss or theft of alcohol supplied by Client

6.2 Where liability cannot be excluded under Australian Consumer Law, liability is limited to:

  • Re-supply of Services; or

  • Refund of the amount paid for Services.

7. GLASSWARE & EQUIPMENT HIRE

7.1 The Client is responsible for all hired items from delivery until collection.

7.2 Breakages, loss, theft, or damage will be charged at replacement value.

7.3 A security bond may be required for high-risk events.

8. ICE & FRESH INGREDIENTS

8.1 Ice and fresh ingredients are handled and prepared in accordance with food safety standards.

8.2 The Client must notify Involved Events of any guest allergies prior to the Event.

8.3 Involved Events is not liable for allergic reactions where ingredients were not disclosed.

9. SECURITY & HIGH-RISK EVENTS

9.1 For events exceeding 80 guests, festivals, or public events, Involved Events may require licensed security personnel.

9.2 Involved Events may refuse service where adequate security is not present.

10. PERSONAL GUARANTEE (Corporate Clients)

If the Client is a company, trust, or incorporated association, the person signing this agreement personally guarantees payment of all fees and indemnifies Involved Events against non-payment.

11. PAYMENT TERMS

  • A non-refundable booking fee of [10]% is required.

  • Balance payable [14 days] prior to the Event.

  • Failure to pay may result in cancellation without refund.

12. CANCELLATION

Client Cancellation:

  • More than 30 days prior: Booking fee retained.

  • 14–30 days: 50% payable.

  • Less than 14 days: 100% payable.

Business Cancellation:
If Involved Events cancels due to illness or circumstances beyond control, liability is limited to refund of monies paid.

13. FORCE MAJEURE

Involved Events is not liable for failure to perform due to:

  • Government restrictions

  • Liquor licence refusal

  • Extreme weather

  • Venue closure

  • Public health orders

  • Council shutdowns

  • Emergency services intervention

14. SOCIAL MEDIA RELEASE

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, Involved Events may photograph or film bar setups for promotional purposes. No guest faces will be used without consent.

15. DRUGS & VIOLENCE POLICY

Involved Events operates a zero-tolerance policy regarding:

  • Illegal drug use

  • Aggression

  • Violence

  • Threats to staff

Service will cease immediately if such behaviour occurs.

16. GOVERNING LAW

These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia.
